The Gateway to Your Overall Well-Being

The beauty of chiropractic care is that it’s a gateway to overall well-being. Through our care and education, you can get back on your feet and restore your holistic health.

Whatever you’re facing, we can use chiropractic care to address and adapt to your body’s needs. We can bring positive change to your life with an integrated and humble approach.

Embracing Our Small-Town Environment

Since he grew up in a small town in Michigan where “everybody knows everybody,” Dr. Thane is excited to have Myers Chiropractic become a part of the close-knit community of Galesburg.

We still have a clinic In Battle Creek, which lets us integrate additional resources as needed. Dr. Thane splits his time between the two campuses, but he is enthusiastic about the prospect of spending more of his time in this new location going forward.

Getting to Know Your Local Chiropractor

Dr. Thane graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He’s passionate about what he does and is an open book, able to make you comfortable and reassure you with the right information related to your body’s needs.

As a former high school athlete who still loves to play sports recreationally, Dr. Thane is an expert in helping his patients remain active and reach their performance goals. This includes caring for ankle sprains, shoulder or knee injuries, and more.

Dr. Thane is married to another medical professional (a nurse) and embraces each moment he spends with his family and friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

What chiropractic techniques do you use?

Dr. Thane is proficient in Diversified, Gonstead, and the Activator Method.

Can you help with low back pain, neck, and headaches?

Yes! We regularly get patients seeking relief from headaches and healing from musculoskeletal conditions such as back or neck pain. We also work on extremities, including ankle, wrists, elbows, and shoulder injuries.

If I go to the chiropractor once, do I have to go forever?

Not at all. Regular maintenance and check-ins can benefit your health, but you’re not obligated to visit us indefinitely. You can come in for help managing an acute injury and return only as needed.

Do I have to be referred by a medical doctor?

It’s not necessary to have a referral. Rarely, an insurance company may want to see a referral, but insurance coverage is not a requirement for our care. We are open to anyone who wants to see us.

What does the first appointment look like?

Your first visit will include an exam, a report of findings, and a brief consult on your medical history. We do not have X-rays on-site, but we may refer you out to a location 10 minutes away if necessary.
