Battle Creek Chiropractor Drs Jeromy & Rachelle Myers

Battle Creek Chiropractor Dr. Rachelle Myers.Dr. Rachelle: At a very young age I suffered with headaches, I was introduced to chiropractic because it helped me overcome those headaches.  It was after the headaches were gone that is when I experienced chiropractic care that made my decision to be a chiropractor.  I would go into my chiropractor throughout a very stressful time in my life and he was able to coach me through some tough times, which proved to me that the chiropractic profession was much more than relieving pains it helped people in all aspects of health and life.

Battle Creek Chiropractor Dr. Jeromy Myers.Dr. Jeromy:  I thought everyone had to have lower back pains to grow up strong.  In my teen athletic career I suffered with this lower back pain, taking medications when it got to intense.  My family began chiropractic in the same clinic we now own with Dr. Gymer. The very first adjustment I received, I was pain free and extremely intrigued. I could not believe that I did not have to live with this pain and have to take medication. I felt a weight had been lifted off of me. From that point on I received regular chiropractic because it improved my overall performance in all aspects of my life.

Dr. Rachelle:  Once I was introduced to chiropractic and the benefits that it had for me, I received another positive sign that this was the career for me by the relationship I had with the Dr. Paul Gautreau.  He not only is a great chiropractor, but also had a genuine care about what was going on in my life.  This lead me to see not only that a chiropractor takes care of the nervous system, but also is a person that helps all facets of health and vitality.

Dr. Jeromy:  The relief of pain from just making sure your spine was working as it should absolutely intrigued me.  I began to bug the now semi-retired Dr. Gymer about finding out more information on this profession.  He gave me several books that were amazing.  My regular chiropractic visits helped me function so much better overall I would never miss any appointment.  The kicker for my decision came one day while I was waiting for Dr. Gymer in the room and he came around the corner with a squirt gun in his hand.  His secretary at the time came into the room before Dr. Gymer adjusted me and squirted him with her squirt gun right between the eyes.  The pure happiness that you felt when you left the office was like no other doctor I had ever been to.  After that I knew this profession was for me.

Dr. Rachelle went to school at the University of Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada where she received her bachelors of science in Biochemistry.  From there she went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic where she graduated on the president's list and Magna Cum Laude from her class.  She also became a part of the Pi Tau Delta society for highest honors in the class.  Her most valuable experience throughout school was in the laboratory where she discovered the amazing detail of the brain and spinal cord.  The experience still sticks with her today seven years later.

Dr. Jeromy had a road less traveled educational experience.  He first started at Kalamazoo College for two and a half years where he was able to play collegiate football for two years.  He then completed his pre-requisite work for chiropractic school at Kellogg Community College.  He then went into Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was part of the Pi Tau Delta society for highest honors.  His most inspiring moment was in the one of the most difficult classes at Palmer College, he received the highest grade in the class from the toughest teacher.  A teacher by the way that has been at the school since the 60's, in fact he is still teaching today as of this writing!
